Look who's back

If you have not been informed on one of the hottest topics in entertainment this week then have a look at this.

King of Pop, Michael Jackson had announced that he will be residing at the o2 Arena in London until February 2010. Yes, it is true ladies and gentleman, the wacked out, spaced out genius of pop music will be doing 50 shows beginning this July. If you want to have a laugh watch the press conference where he made the announcement.

Whilst it is easy to defame the 50 year-old life of the man sporting a new chin, he was arguably the best performer/entertainer of the 20th century. To get your head around it in a couple of sentences: 750 million unit sales world wide and 13 Grammys - not to mention 8 were win in one night! He still holds the record for highest selling album of all time being the 1983 release, Thriller.

The asking ticket price is yet to be announced although we can bank on something ludicrous considering the amount of debt the toddler-toucher is in. I'll ask, would you pay to see him today? If so, how much? One of Motown's earliest and greatest stars may be lip syncing but is sure to boggle minds with his dancing abilities.

Rolling on from Motown, the label has just released their 50th Anniversary box set which is worth a listen to. Listen closely and you'll probably here a few tunes that are getting some air play out at a few happening venues at the moment. Here are a couple of my favourites from the collection. Enjoy....

Mediafire: Nowhere to Run - Martha Reeves and the Vandellas

Mediafire: Ain't too proud to beg - The Temptations
